Atlas of Opportunity is a student-led Washington nonprofit corporation, founded and primarily maintained by Nehan Hossain, a high school student in Bothell, Washington. It provides free tools that help high school students discover and organize academic, research, internship, scholarship, competition, and enrichment opportunities.

How the community contributes
Atlas of Opportunity is a Washington nonprofit corporation incorporated on August 6, 2026 (Washington UBI 606 266 796). Governance currently rests with its founder and incorporator, Nehan Hossain; no additional directors, officers, or advisors have been appointed yet. Community members are welcome to help in these concrete ways:
- Suggest an opportunity through the public suggestion form.
- Report an outdated listing or a broken link with the “Report a problem” button on any program page.
- Propose a correction, better description, or additional source for an existing listing.
- Share feedback about the site, the guides, or the Finder experience.
- Recommend educational resources or programs Atlas should track.
If a formal editorial board, advisor group, or additional maintainers are added later, they will be named here with their consent.
What Atlas does not do
- Charge students to use the site or view opportunities.
- Accept donations, sponsorships, or paid placements.
- Sell rankings, referrals, or user data.
- Guarantee admission to any program.
- Claim to be a school counselor, admissions consultant, or a federally tax-exempt 501(c)(3) charity. Atlas is a state-level nonprofit corporation only.
